The Best Fried Green Tomatoes

Ingredients:

3 or 4 medium to large green tomatoes
1 cup corn meal or enough for the tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
bacon seasoning


Instructions:

Slice the tomatoes 1/4 inch thick. Salt and pepper the tomatoes or put into the corn meal. Coat the tomatoes on both sides well. Fry in the bacon seasoning (drippings) until browned on both sides. That is all there is to it, folks. Best if eaten hot and while your are frying them for others.
