Shrimp Alfredo

1/2 lb fresh Shrimp, steamed.
1/2 stick butter or 1/4 cup
1 1/4 cups light cream or half and half (divided)
8 oz fettuccine, cooked and drained
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
dash of salt


Wash, peel and steam shrimp or grill in butter till pink. Cook pasta acording to directions. In large skillet melt margarine over medium heat; add pasta, cheese, and 3/4 cups cream. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat 2 or 3 minutes. Stir in remaining 1/2 cups of cream, pepper, nutmeg and salt; cook stirring, 1 minute or till it sticks to the pasta, add the shrimp and cook a minute more. Serve immediately.
