Sour Cream Shrimp Dip

1 T butter
3 T minced green onion
3 T minced celery
1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 can drained 4 1/4oz shrimp- chopped finely
1/8 tsp. pepper
few drops red pepper sauce

for garnish- a green onion chopped and a small shrimp


Melt butter in medium saucepan. Saute onions and celery about 3 min. Combine cream cheese and sour crean. Stir in veg. mixture. Stir in shrimp, pepper and red sauce. Heat over medium heat stirring constantly, until warm throughout. Do not boil. Transfer to serving container. Garnish and serve warm with assorted crackers. Yield 2 1/2 cups.
