Crab Melt

1/2 cup butter
1 8 oz pkg. Shredded Cheddar Cheese1 t lemon juice
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 6 oz can flaked crabmeat
1 oz pimientos
1 pkg. (2 loaves) ready to bake French bread


Melt butter and cheese over low heat; add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt, mix well. Process in blender until smooth. In bowl, fold in crabmeat and pimientos, mix well. Slice bread into half inch slices and spread on crabmat mixture. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve imediately. Makes 20 slices.
