Ingredients:

1 cup quick cooking oats
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 stick butter or margerine
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups flour
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt


Instructions:

Pour boiling water over oats and let stand for 20 min. Cream sugar and butter, add eggs one at a time, and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add creamed mixture along with oats.
