Angel Biscuits

5 Cups self rising flour
1/3 Cup sugar
1 tsp soda
1 Cup Crisco solid
2 cups buttermilk
2 packages yeast, dissolved in
1/4 cup warm water


Make as you would biscuits and bake at 425 degrees. Dough can be kept in refrigerator for several days. Keep in covered bowl, and take out as much as needed, and return to refrigerator. These biscuits are soft even when warmed over. I have kept dough in the refrigerator for as long as 10 days with excellent results. From: Bettye Howard
