Ingredients:

1/4 lb. butter
2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp soda
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Topping
1 cup finely chopped toffee candy bars
1/4 cup pecans chopped finely
(or almonds)


Instructions:

Blend the flour, butter and sugar. Take out 1/2 cup of the mixture. To the remaining add the buttermilk, soda, egg and vanilla. Blend well. Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Topping: Add topping ingredients with 1/2 cup saved mixture. Sprinkle over the top of the batter. Bake 350 degrees. for 30 min.
