German Sauerkraut Salad

1 27 oz can sauerkraut drained
2 red eating apples grated
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp cracked pepper


Drain the kraut and set aside abt. 4 cups. Grate 2 apples including peel. In large bowl, combine kraut, apples, oil, sugar and pepper. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors.
