Golden Corn Fritters

1 cup self rising flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 eggs beaten
1 1/2 cups fresh corn cut from cob (abt. 3 ears)
1/2 cup milk
2 T veg. oil
Hot veg. oil in pan


Conbine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well and set aside. Combine eggs, corn, milk, and 2 T vegatable oil; mix well. Stir corn mixture into dry ingredients. Drop Mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls into vegetable oil heated to 375 degrees; cook fritters until golden, turning once.
